Sofology has welcomed back Helena Bonham Carter in its first work by The Corner London.

“Nothing feels like” launches with a 30-second film, which shows Bonham Carter arriving home to a curious set-up, where everything is the wrong way up.

From paintings to her dog, the whole house is upside down, apart from her sofa in the centre of the living room.

Bonham Carter wanders through her home admiring all of her topsy-turvy possessions as well as her Sofology sofa.

She falls backwards over it and soon the viewer sees everything from her point of view, where everything is finally the right way up.

It ends with the line: “Feel at home on a sofa you love.”

It was directed by Chris Cottam through Chief. Post production through Chief Post.

The work will run across TV, video-on-demand, press, social, digital and in-store activity.

“We wanted this campaign to really focus on magnifying what it feels to ‘feel at home on a sofa you love’ and that incredible bliss when your sofa is the best place in the world,” Sebastian Brown, director of creative at Sofology, said.

“The TV ad spearheads the ‘Nothing feels like’ campaign, and lays a strong brand communication platform through the customer journey. The whole process is a great example of how in-house creative has successfully collaborated with the agency world.”

The film is supported by wider assets that also celebrate the unique emotions that come with a Sofology sofa.
