JOE CONNOR

Joe’s films are cinematic, richly imagined, contemplative and occasionally haunting. A lyrical, less-is-more approach has already seen him shortlisted at Cannes and Soho Rushes, and he has been nominated for Best Video at the UKMVAs three times. Born in Warrington, in the North of England, he earned a First in Performance Art from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, with a focus on Directing, specialising in mime and experimental theatre. His film directing work has earned nominations at Cannes Lions, D&AD, British Arrows, 1.4 Awards, Creative Circles, and five UKMVA nominations. He’s created work for the world's leading brands and the world's biggest music acts. His video for The Rolling Stones was inducted into the BFI archive as a piece of cultural importance. In 2022, he helped launch ‘Harry’s House’, Harry Styles' Grammy-winning album.
